Bad Time Of Year
December 18, 2006
It’s a bad time of year to have credit cards and very little cash. You want your loved ones to have a great holiday and it’s just too easy to charge all your gifts.
It’s better to use cash if you have it, because you are more likely to use some self control. Those extra dollars seem like they don’t even exist when you charge them on one of your credit cards.
There will be an after holiday when those bills will start coming due and most of the time the regrets come with them.
Make a list of what you will buy and spend and try to stick to it if you must use cards. It may feel like free money at the time you use them, but remember you will pay even more with interest afterwards.
