Credit Card Debt
May 28, 2009
I have three credit cards. Visa, American Express, and chase Visa. I usually use chase visa card and American express card. Whenever I shop in costco I use American Express Card
Because they accept only American Express card.Every month I make it a point to pay in full except line of credit.I bought a car using my line of credit from my home equity. But I am paying 1000 dollars per month towards that loan.In general I don’t like credit card debt.It makes me sleepless during nights. So I avoid credit card debt as much as possible.
Living flashy but with empty pocket
May 28, 2009
I knew a couple of friends of mine. They always wear nice, elegant clothing when we go out. They consider that is most important for their social status. It would keep their image shiny in the public, that is what they consider what is necessary. Is it that important for once life? I really can’t judge on that. For me, I won’t consider my image is that important when I have an empty pocket. I rather save that money for my basic needs, instead of spending on something that is not practical.
There is a friend of mine, she loves to shop at the mall. She would love to buy those latest fashion design. It will be extremely expensive, but she couldn’t resist the temptation on them. Whenever she receives the new advertising on mail, she has the itch to go shop again. She confessed to me, she spend more than she made. That is a problem in her lifestyle, don’t you think? She should consider what she really need in her daily life. Sometimes, she just couldn’t even keep up her rent, her utility payment. That is the problem we all, most Americans facing day to day.
Those flashy clothing really attracts many admirable eyes on the public, but it just a moment of fad. When the moment past, they only have a empty pocket. I won’t be that person.
The way you spend money
May 28, 2009
In this capitalism country, money loan and credit cards are always available to us. We have the freedom to borrow loan to start our dream business if we had set sight on something that seems promising in earning profit in the future. We can also borrow money for our daily spending, and we can pay it back in the future. That is our lifestyle of living in America. The great America. This way of living plague us, our great citizens for many years. Until recently, the financial crisis, and the big recession teach us a great lesson on spending money, and the way we should live. We can’t no longer follow the old pattern any longer.
You just have to consider how much you can make, and how much you can spend monthly. Keep it frugal, if you think that you won’t be able to keep up the payment on your credit cards. We have to come to face to face the fact that you don’t want to get yourself into deep financial crisis. You have to ponder ahead what is best for your future. Many of us lack of the vision to see this coming, and we shouldn’t follow the same path, and make the same mistake all over again.
Using paypal
May 28, 2009
Paypal is an online banking system you can have money deposit into your account, send money to others things like this. After you have had an account with paypal for I think it is about 30 days you can get a debit card you can use this debit to withdraw money from your account. There is a limit as to how much daily and monthly what I suggest is if yours is more than this limit you can choose to have your funds sent to your regular bank account it normally takes about 3 to 5 days for this transaction.
Using ATM’s Wisely
May 28, 2009
Almost everyone that has a checking/savings account has a debit card/atm card they can come in very handy especially if the hours you keep are different than your bank’s hours. That’s what Atm’s are for is for convience but you have to be aware and learn how to use ATMS wisely because a lot of ATM’s will charge you a fee for taking out money it can be anywhere from 1.00 to 3.00 even higher. So if you use an atm machine to withdraw money you have to find out what that fee is and take that into consideration also most atm’s will only let you take out money in multipiles of 10’s or 20’s for example lets say the atm machine you are at is multiplies of 20’s and the fee is 1.75 and you have 300 in your account the most you would be able to withdraw would 280. Things like this you have to take into consideration and try to only use the atm machine if you absoutely have to.
Giving old credit cards, and debits cards to the bank.
May 28, 2009
You can take the old credit cards, and the debit cards to the bank that you bank with and that they may offer money to you for up to 2 of them. They will destroy them for you the proper way and that they have ways of destroing them for you, and that in case if you have someone going throu your trash at home and that they can get to your account by doing that. And they can go online and changing the date for ordering things and charging things to you and you would not know it either.Well, i had done that, so that there are ways of getting rid of the old credit cards and old debit cards, and the ones that are out dated too. Because that i had given the bank my old ones and, the ones that we no longer use to my bank, and that they had inform me about it. The security of my credit, and my wife credit too
Credit Cards When You Have No Credit
May 27, 2009
Many readers of Credit Cardenza will find this old news, but if you have found us looking for information about obtaining a credit card when you have no credit, here it is. Pretty much your only option when looking for a credit card with no credit history is a secured credit card.
While you should be especially aware of the agreements in any credit card offer, pay close close CLOSE attention to that of the secured credit card offer. All secured credit cards come with fees. Fees that are often high. These fees are often so high that they nearly max out the limit.
Ultimately, a secured credit card is a stepping stone. Apply when you can pay the fees. Never max the card out. Use it moderately until you have some good things to show on your credit rating, and then get an unsecured credit card with no fees (such as many Capital One cards).
When you have no credit history, often all you can obtain is a secured credit card. However, once you obtain a secured credit card, you can build your credit history up until you qualify for an unsecured credit card.

Identity protection is so much important nowadays
May 27, 2009
From news, there were so many stolen identity were identified. People were going through so much trouble to clear the debt they never committed to. It was sad, but it is so much important for us to protect our identity. If necessary, you have to notify your local authority to clear the further damage these criminals committed to you.
There was a Chinese new immigrants from the news. He doesn’t speak much of English. Because of language barrier. He was in constant need of help from others to fill out the application for him. These applications involve social security number be given. Maybe some of these dishonesty helpers took a perfect opportunity to steal his identity. There were several collector agencies in need of him to clear off several credit cards debts. He just never apply for any of those credit cards. He was puzzled, and he doesn’t know what to do. He was afraid to contact the authority, because he doesn’t speak English at all. A total debt of $16,000 just imposed on him.
To further protect yourself, you must check your annual credit report from time to time. To see if there is anything never belongs to you. You have to contact the authorities or three credit bureau immediately. One more thing, never give out your social security number to anyone.
